Our Class

The Motivation & Co. Class provides specialist motivational therapy to residents throughout the care sector as part of the recreational facilities provided, working within your home infrastructure as part of your in house team.

The Motivation & Co. Class provides specialist motivational therapy to residents throughout the care sector as part of the recreational facilities provided, working within your home infrastructure as part of your in house team.

The Motivation & Co. Class is evidence based and fully researched by Leeds Metropolitan University by Dr M Cattan Centre for Health Promotion Research, Miss L J Gmez, Dr G M Fox and Dr J C McCreanor in partnership with St James Teaching Hospital NHS Leeds. proven that the Motivation & Co. Class will make a difference.

The Motivation & Co. Class is delivered for one hour and each session is broken down into four sections delivering the full package:

Cognitive Therapy

Our aim is to get our client into a thought process where they can engage stimulating the mind; using techniques which work well with various clients from mental health, brain injury, learning disability & dementia clients.

Exercise Section

All of our exercise sections are designed and proven to increase joint flexion, muscle strength and work with co-ordination and improve core stability to maintain physical and mental dexterity and mobility.

Games Section

Various games designed by the company and patented making them unique to us specifically designed for a group to encourage interaction, engagement and working with eye and hand co-ordination.

Music Therapy

This section is developed to affect our mood and wellbeing we have a large range of music to suit all ages and abilities. Music is a very powerful instrument on our minds and how it affects different parts of our brains.
