Motivation & Co. UK Ltd are looking for someone to manage a team of Motivational Therapists and build the Motivation & Co. brand in and around the Talbot Woods, Wimborne, New Milton area's.

You will need access to a car and hold a full UK driving license. If you possess all of the above then we can provide the rest. You will be travelling to care homes, residential homes, day centres and Learning disability homes throughout specified Bournemouth postcode areas. Occasionally delivering the Motivation & Co. award winning sessions to our service users. Managing a small team of staff, driving sales within the area, including personal visits, networking, telephone sales and organising mailings. You will also need access to a computer and the internet. You will need to be self driven and happy working from home.

Full training materials and uniform are provided, the candidate will also be fully DBS checked. This role involves working 1 to 3 days per week, delivering up to 3 Motivation & Co. sessions per day.

The starting rate of pay is £9.25 per hour and 35p per mile driven, from leaving your home to your return. Mileage costs, pension details and holiday benefits can all be discussed upon application.

Our Motivational therapists work within the care sector delivering the Motivation & Co sessions to residents to promote their physical and cognitive well being. The service is fully researched and evidence based, we really do make a difference.

Part of the recruitment process will involve applicants coming along to view and participate in one of our Motivation & Co. sessions. This will enable you to get a feel for the environment and also to see for yourself the work and the effect that we have on a persons well being.

Objectives

·        Demonstrate increased knowledge and awareness of Dementia.

·        Provide update information and training in creating and maintaining a climate for motivating your residents.

·        Communicate effectively to enable your residents to be motivated within their abilities

·        Deliver activities that will create a supportive learning environment, which is stimulating and challenging for your residents.

The challenge is to not deliver activities based solely on assumptions and stereotypes but to focus on individual needs and abilities.
